Digital Media Photography, Video and Film Production
Students learn hands on skills to prepare them for working in the media, entertainment, film, or television.
Classes focus on journalistic writing technique, photography, script writing, film production, video editing, and animation graphics design.

Courses include:
- Digital Media Fundamentals: This introductory course teaches students journalistic writing technique, basic photography, and basic video production. Additionally students earn industry certification in Adobe Photoshop.
- Digital Media Production: This course teaches video production skills. Students plan, script, cast, shoot, edit, and critique various genres within the entertainment and media landscape. Student projects include creating Public Service Announcements, Advertisements, Documentaries, Dramas, Comedies, Music Videos and Animations. Additionally students earn industry certification in Adobe Premiere.
- Digital Media Delivery: In this course students produce a television show for broadcast. All aspects of production are done by the class including preproduction planning, content creation, script writing, performing, video production, and post-production. Shows are shared via stream for audiences.
Past shows are achieved here. - Digital Cinema: This course teaches students filmmaking techniques. Students focus on longer form story driven content with the goal of building a portfolio of work for art school and university applications. Advanced skills includes building animations with Adobe After Effects, special effects creation, and pyrotechnics for film.
- Creative Photography: Students learn how to shoot, edit, and critique photography with an eye for aesthetic. This course focuses on fine art photography and critique. Students build a portfolio which is showcased online and can be used for art school and university applications.
Student work can be found here. - Digital Design Yearbook: Students in this course work together to create the school yearbook. Every aspect of the book is produced by students including content and layout decisions, photography, writing, and graphic design. Additionally, students design a video portal, using a mobile phone application, which allows student created video content to be played over the Internet while sitting and reading the yearbook.
